All Kalinga LGUs pass Good Financial Housekeeping 2021


Tabuk City, Kalinga – The province of Kalinga along with its city and all of its seven municipalities passed the Good Financial Housekeeping 2021, a recognition for the compliance of LGUs with accounting and auditing standards, rules and regulations and Full Disclosure Policy.


Based on the official list released by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) dated December 20, among the seven municipalities of the province of who passed the Good Financial Housekeeping 2021 are Pasil, Tanudan, Tinglayan and Lubuagan.


The award, which is one of the requirements for acquiring the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG), measures the transparency and accountability of the local government unit’s financial transactions.


The first criteria considered for the award is whether the LGU qualified or not for the most recent available Commission on Audit (COA) Audit Opinion for the Calendar Years (CY) 2019 or 2020.

Another criterion is the compliance with the Full Disclosure Policy, which involves posting of all 14 documents in three conspicuous places and in the FDP portal for all quarters of CY 2020 and the first quarter of CY 2021.


Data are based on the uploaded audit report to the COA as of November 5, 2021, and FDP Compliance.


The municipalities of Rizal, Balbalan, Pinukpuk, and the City of Tabuk likewise passed the said
