Kalinga cow raisers lost P.4M to robbers in Isabela

Quezon, Isabela – Kalinga cow raisers lost more than P400,000 they got from selling their cows when armed robbers forcibly took their money while they were dining in Quezon, Isabela.


Reymar and Randy Salon, along with Alberto Dela Cruz, all from Kalinga, were having coffee at around 1 a.m. of December 06 in an eatery in Barangay Santos when the robbers on board two Honda XRM appeared, Quezon Municipal Police Station said.

Armed with a gun, the suspects went inside and declared a hold-up. They took the bag of the Salons containing P457,000 they got from selling their cows, and cellphones.


Further, the robbers took P8,000 from the eatery owned by Regina Manuel, also from Kalinga.


Just after three minutes, the suspects fled with their motorcycle. They headed towards Malalao, Tabuk City.


Chief of Police, Major Joseph Curugan said a witness already confirmed the identity of one of the suspects who was also involved in carnapping and other crimes in Kalinga.


Police are now searching for the robbery suspects.
