Apayao PPMC equips LPMC in Kabugao for enhanced Project monitoring skills

Luna, Apayao – The Provincial Project Monitoring Committee (PPMC) successfully held a two-day training on Regional Project Monitoring and Evaluation System (RPMES) for the Local Project Monitoring Committee (LPMC) in Kabugao, equipping them with crucial skills in project oversight practices.

Said training was held at the LGU Kabugao SP hall on September 24-25, with over 43 participants.

PDDO staff Cristle Mariz O. Dawangon, who led the training said on Friday, said participants were provided significant knowledge on various RPMES forms and guidance in the utilization of the eRPMES portal.

Moreover, they were informed and given practical skills in data encoding, uploading, validation, and quality control to ensure accurate and timely data submission, geared towards improving project monitoring and evaluation.

DILG-Apayao LGOO V Joel Paul B. Alcantara, meantime, shared some inputs on the development of  action plan which outlines specific activities and timelines to guide the LPMC for efficient implementation of the RPMES, improve their practices, and further strengthen their capacity.

According to the DILG, with the training, it is expected that the LPMC's ability to monitor and evaluate projects in Kabugao shall be enhanced. This, according to the department, will contribute more effectively to the sustainable development of the municipality.
