Are you ready for Panagbenga Festival 2022? Let’s go to Baguio on March 6

Baguio City, Philippines – If you feel you need to unwind and want to have some great moments and relaxation, then let's visit Baguio, "as a friend". The activities for the celebration of Panagbenga Festival 2022 will begin on March 6, 2022.

Baguio City Administrator, Engr. Bonifacio Dela Peña announced this through PTV Cordillera on Thursday, February 11.

Dela Peña said the start of the month-long celebration was agreed upon by Panagbenga 2022 Committee headed by Mayor Benjamin Magalong during their recent meeting.

The city administrator explained the committee chose to start the event on March 6 to give more preparation time and “also we have enough time to lower down the cases.”

The celebration, he said, will be until April 2.

Panagbenga Festival 2022 Highlights

Among the highlights of Panagbenga 2022 are community-led events such as Pets on Parade to be held on March 6, Panagbenga Gardenscapes on March 6 to 7, Let a Thousand Flowers Bloom on March 13, and Open Dance Competition on March 18 and 19.

Other events include Session Road in Bloom from March 21 to 27, Flower Tree Golf on March 25 and 26, and Fireworks Display on March 27.

While the committee is yet to decide the main guest and theme, Dela Peña hopes for the continuous decline of COVID-19 cases for the safe celebration of the Panagbenga Festival 2022.
