Atty. Comafay asserts change in government starts with having ‘matitinong kandidato’

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Filipinos have since been clamoring for a change in the government system, but they have always ended up disappointed.

Councilor-aspirant for the May 2025 polls in Tabuk City, Atty. Errol ‘Pasiking’ Comafay explained how this ‘change’ can really happen and materialize, saying it is possible, but it can only happen when wise and prudent political candidates get elected to public posts.

“Ang pagbabago sa gobyerno ay nagsisimula sa pagkakaroon ng mga matitinong kandidato,” he said.

It is then that the lawyer who has been known as an anti-corruption crusader encouraged the voters to pick these ‘matitinong kandidato’ in the May 12, 2025 elections, as this is their chance to finally have that ‘change’ they have been crying for over the past years.

“Kaya kung makatagpo kayo ng matinong kandidato; suportahan ninyo at inyong iboto,” he expressed.

As to rumors he was disqualified in the May 2025 race and the decision of the Comelec En Banc because he is not a resident of Tabuk City, Comafay asserted he’s bringing the case to the Supreme Court as everybody knows he is a resident of Tabuk City. Comafay earlier assured his supporters that their vote for him would be counted, saying the final verdict of every legal decision or dispute is the Supreme Court.
