Baguio City authorities probe sex booking site on Facebook

Baguio City, Philippines – Netizens in Baguio City were recently appalled by a social media group that turned into a sex booking site.

Named “BAGUIO GROUP”, the community created on Facebook became a platform where people advertise sexual services for a fee, with some of them even posting indecent images of themselves.

One of the posts reads, “LF SURE CLIENT. 19 years old, Hindi nag mamadali. Pag usapan natin gusto mo baka gusto ko din.”

Other posts include a woman asking who would want to avail of her ‘videos’ for a fee, which she would be using as she badly needed money for her allowance.

The social media group alarmed not just the residents of Baguio but also authorities, including Mayor Benjamin Magalong himself, who called for an investigation into the Facebook group.

As mentioned by the Baguio City Public Information Office, Baguio City Police Director, PCol. Francisco Bulwayan Jr. and his personnel were already on it and initially found that the group had already changed its name and its administrator was not from the city.
