Balbalan applauds delegates for Mr. and Miss Kalinga

Balbalan, Kalinga - In a demonstration of unity, the municipality of Balbalan stood firmly behind its candidates for the recently concluded search for Mr. and Miss Kalinga 2024.

 

Miss Christine Wylan Wacdisan and Mr. Rex Lasi represented their community, embodying the spirit of Balbalan on the grand stage.

 

During the coronation night held on February 13 at the Kalinga Sports Center, Wacdisan showcased grace and elegance thus, securing the title of 4th runner-up.

 

Lasi’s journey in the male category came to an early end.


Despite this setback, he remained grateful for the support he received, particularly from his supporters and the local government unit of Balbalan.

 

Expressing his gratitude, Lasi conveyed heartfelt appreciation to his supporters, acknowledging their role in fueling his determination and sustaining his spirit throughout the competition. He emphasized the invaluable support he received from the Balbalan community, highlighting the camaraderie that fortified his resolve to represent their municipality with pride.

 

In his message, Lasi extended special thanks to Mayor Almar Paganao Malannag, Vice Mayor Rowina Alison Damian, and all members of the local government for their leadership that has been among his source of inspiration.

 

Mayor Malannag, Vice Mayor Damian, and the entire Balbalan community echoed their congratulations to the candidates, commending their determination in representing the municipality. They particularly praised Lasi for his courage in persevering through challenges, despite falling ill prior to the final night of the pageant.

 

Wacdisan and Lasi’s journey in the Mr. and Miss Kalinga 2024 pageant not only brought honor to the municipality but also served as a testament to the strength and resilience of its people.
