Balbalan searches for local singers to be part of music album

Balbalan, Kalinga – If you have musical talent, don’t let your voice go unheard. Unleash your inner diva and audition for “The Voice of Balbalan.”

Balbalan is looking for singers to be part of a music album.

The audition, according to the local Tourism Office, is open to all yBalbalan of all ages.

During the audition to be held on the 3rd floor of Balbalan Hostel at 8 a.m. on August 23, aspirants shall perform an original song about local culture in the Balbalan dialect. The composition is not necessarily written by the participant.

They may present solo, due,t or group performances and must bring their own instruments. Amplifier for guitar and microphone shall be provided.

To confirm participation in the audition, aspirants must text their name, age, and address to 0956-771-9879. Upon registration, they must submit a printed copy of their piece to the secretariat.

Only the first 30 to confirm participation will be entertained.

Prize

According to Balbalan Tourism Officer Regine Faye Dongui-is Munda Cruz, no monetary prize will be given to the winners but they will have the chance to record a song for free and be included in an album to be released soon.
