#Bar2024: Kalinga has produced 32 new lawyers

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Thirty-two iKalingas have survived the Bar 2024, one of the toughest examinations in the Philippines.

 

On September 8, 11, and 15, 2024, more than 10,000 aspiring lawyers took the Bar Examination in 13 local testing centers in the country. Of said number, 37.84% or 3,962 takers passed, the Supreme Court of the Philippines announced on Friday, December 13.

 

Among those who rejoiced in the success of the Bar 2024 is the Province of Kalinga who have 32 sons and daughters in the list of passers.

 

These 32 include Jodea Pearl Martin Abalos, Jarvis Sian Obar Alba, Chevrolette Agpawan Alindayo, William Alexander Dar Arizabal, Reba Killongan Awatin, Maureen Kegan Bading, Delonix Kim Perkins Baggay, Dean Jay Balcanao, Pearly Grace Bangaan-Fabro, Benjie Attorb Bayawoc, Lucky Egan Benito, Annie Baguiyac Bennong, Maybelle Ledda Buraga, Mary Grace Agub Cauan, Jayson Gonayon Cutaran, Jarohsan Masangkay Dang-ay, Isagani Palattao Dela Cruz, Macario B. Duguiang Jr., Leonard Chumanad Egcatan, Morel del Gonzales Falgui, Agnes Isabel Paganao Garcia, Mike Jezer Puyao Hortelano, Liezl Gabrielle Ludan, Fair Lane Gubiangan Malana, Vanessa Joy Gustillo Matti, Patrick Jones Mina, Chesed Sophia Munda, Sheilah May Ballog Padalla, Merab Salio-an, Divina Grace Semilla, Michael Udan, and Raisa Magwaki Wacas.

 

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines Kalinga Chapter conveyed their felicitations to these new iKalinga lawyers.

 

“Your hard work and dedication have paid off. We can’t wait to see you make your mark in the legal profession,” the IBP Kalinga Chapter wrote on Facebook.

 

Currently, IBP Kalinga has 257 members and the 32 will be admitted to the organization once they took their oath as full-fledged lawyers and signed the roll of attorney.
