Be a Pisay scholar and enjoy free tuition, monthly stipend and more!

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Incoming high school students for next school year still have a month to apply for the Philippine Science High School(PSHS) scholarship and enjoy free tuition and a monthly stipend, among others.

PSHS, more commonly known as Pisay, is the top science high school in the Philippines. It has 16 campuses in the country including Baguio City.

Admission for scholarship at said institution began in June and will close on October 13, 2023.

Who are eligible to apply

Grade 6 students this SY 2023 – 2024 who have a final grade of 85% or more in Science and Mathematics are eligible to apply for the scholarship. The applicant, however, must not be more than 15 years old on June 30, 2024.

If the student’s grade in Science or Math is below 85%, he or she must provide proof that he or she belongs to the upper 10% of his or her batch.

Additionally, the learner should not have previously filed for admission at Pisay.

Benefits

A Pisay scholar will enjoy a free tuition fee at the country’s top science high school with a monthly stipend, free loan of books, group accident insurance, uniform and living allowance, and dormitory accommodation.

Interested pupils may directly apply to the nearest PSHS campus, Department of Science and Technology regional office, and Provincial Science and Technology Offices. They may also apply online at https://nce.pshs.edu.ph/.

The 2023 National Competitive Examination which serves as admission to PSHS will be on November 18, 2023.
