Benguet Police confirm identity of 2 dead teen girls found along Marcos Highway

Tuba, Benguet – Tuba police in Benguet have identified the two female dead bodies found along Marcos Highway in Sitio Inonas, Barangay Taloy Sur, Tuba, Benguet on Monday, October 31.

The victims were identified as Andrea Rabara Quiros, 19, and Anika Columbino Principe, 16. They were both residents of San Vicente, Urdaneta City, Pangasinan.

Their identities were known with the help of Police Staff Master Sergeant Albert Peralta Quiros - the father of Andrea and "uncle" of Anika. Quiros said the two were together when they went missing.

Before their bodies will be ferried to Urdaneta City, police relayed they will undergo autopsy first.

At present, an investigation of the case is still ongoing.

As recalled, the bodies of the two victims were discovered around 1:30 PM on October 31.

Tuba police requested the public, particularly those who have missing relatives, to coordinate with them thus the immediate identification of the bodies.
