Binibining Gattaran 2023 passes away at 20

Gattaran, Cagayan – The Municipality of Gattaran mourns the sudden demise of its queen, Antonette Pagaduan.

Crowned as Binibining Gattaran on November 23, 2023, the vivacious young woman celebrated her 20th birthday on January 9, only to meet an untimely end on January 12, 2024, around 1 a.m.

The cause of Antonette's death was reported to be anaphylactic shock, a sudden and severe allergic reaction.

In a social media post, Binibining Gattaran expressed the deep sorrow felt by the entire community.

 Antonette was more than just a beauty queen; she was a role model for younger binibinis, showcasing wit, purpose, and unwavering determination.

Beyond her title, she dedicated herself to serving the community, advocating for inclusive education for children with disabilities.

“This moment serves as a stark reminder of life’s fragility and uncertainty — that indeed tomorrow is never promised,” read the post.

It then urged everyone to face life's challenges with resolve, just as Antoinette did throughout her journey.

As Gattaran mourns the loss of its humble queen, Antonette’s memory will endure in the hearts of those who knew her, leaving a lasting impact on the community she served with passion and dedication.
