Body of Cessna plane crash pilot turned over to family

Apayao, Philippines – The body of 24-year-old Captain Edzel John Lumbao Tabuzo was turned over to his family on August 03, the Apayao Provincial Information Office reported.

Tabuzo is the pilot of the RP-C8958 Cessna 152 plane that crashed at Sitio Matad, Brgy. Salvacion, Luna.

His body along with the cadaver of student pilot Anshum Rajkumar Konde, 20, was brought to the Amma Jadsao District Hospital following their retrieval at the crash site by the rescue teams.

The family of Capt. Tabuzo asks for privacy as they grieve the untimely loss of their dear son.

Meanwhile, the body of Konde is still being processed prior to its turnover to the Indian Embassy.

While authorities are still investigating the cause of the plane crash, the Officialdom of Apayao headed by Governor Elias Bulut Jr. extends its sympathies to the families of the two victims.
