Botanical garden in Baguio transforms into fairy-festive land this Christmas

Baguio City, Philippines – Are you a fan of fairies and wish to be in their land this Christmas?

The City of Baguio got your heart’s desire as it offers another enchanting attraction this Yuletide season apart from its snowy and renowned Christmas Village.

On November 24, the city unveiled the ‘Christmas Metamorphosis’ which transformed the Baguio Botanical Garden into a fairy-festive land with its glowing butterflies and fairy figures and colorful lights.

During the opening ceremony, Mayor Benjamin Magalong conveyed that the Christmas Metamorphosis is a manifestation of the collaboration between the government and communities.

“Now this is a classic case of community work, classic case of collaboration between the local government and the communities of the City of Baguio. At the same time, we also have a lot of help from different communities elsewhere,” he said.

The Christmas Metamorphosis is open to public from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. on Mondays – Sundays with P100 entrance fee for tourists and P50 for Baguio residents.
