BSU gets 100% passing rate in Nov. 2023 Nursing board exam

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A hundred percent passing rate!

That is what Benguet State University’s latest batch of Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination(PNLE) takers delivered to their alma mater.

On Saturday, December 2, the Professional Regulation Commission announced that BSU is one of the 17 universities that secured the highest spot in the list of top 10 performing schools as all its 100 examinees passed the test.

Saint Louis University, on the other hand, was the 4th top-performing institution after 270 of its 272 nursing graduates made it to the exam. This gave SLU a 99.26% passing rate.

Apart from BSU and SLU, higher education institutions in the Cordillera region obtained a high passing rate in the recently concluded nursing licensure examination.

These colleges and universities include Ifugao State University – Lamut with 98.08%; Easter College, 97.70%; University of the Cordilleras, 95.13%; Cordillera Career Development College, 92.50%; University of Baguio, 90.12%; Mountain Province State Polytechnic College, 88.18%; Pines City College, 83.69%; and Baguio Central University whose first takers got a 97.62% passing rate.

The Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera lauded the performance of the said higher institutions saying, “…this remarkable accomplishment reflects the dedication, hard work, and excellence demonstrated by the graduates and faculty members of these institutions, underscoring the collective success of the entire region in the field of nursing education.”
