Tabuk City, Kalinga – The Bureau of Fire Protection – Kalinga welcomes their new provincial director after outgoing Provincial Fire Director, Superintendent Allan Eballar has relinquished office this February 14, 2022.

In a brief turn-over ceremony at the BFP Kalinga Provincial Office, Chief Inspector Arvin Aquino assumed office as the new Kalinga Provincial Fire Marshal, who shall lead the 143 fire personnel in the province.

During the program, Eballar expressed his gratitude to the BFP workforce for their support since his first appointment as BFP PD in Kalinga in 1996. Eballar had been assigned to Kalinga 6 times in his career as a BFP officer.

Although he said he had to move on, he told the workforce that his doors are always open should they need his assistance, even if he is no longer their superior.

“Pwede niyo kong hingan ng tulong, hingan ng advice, kung ano man ‘yung kailangan niyo, pwede pa rin kayong tumawag sa akin,” he said.

He also asked the whole BFP Kalinga to support Aquino, just like what they did to him.

“Salamat sa suporta niyo at kung man ‘yung suporta na ibinigay niyo sa akin, kung maari mas higitan niyo para sa kanya. Alam ko naman ang pumalit sa akin, hindi siya iba sa inyo,” he conveyed.

After relinquishing his office, Eballar shall transfer to Region 2.
