Business owner in Tabuk lost P.8M to burglars



Tabuk City, Kalinga – A business establishment in Tabuk City was ransacked in the middle of the night on August 10, 2023.


Robbery is one of the top most committed index crimes or crimes against a person and property in the city during the first 6 months of 2023. Tabuk City police accounted for 10 cases of robbery in said period.


On August 10, at 12:00 a.m., GNF General Merchandise in Purok 4, Bulanao fell victim to robbers who broke into the building through the window of the second floor.

Based on an initial investigation by authorities in Tabuk, a man was described to have gained entry at the establishment through tubular window grills which he used as his ladder to reach the said floor.


Upon entry, the man proceeded to disconnect the CCTV positioned on the cashier.


The suspect took the vault containing P600,000 cash and pieces of jewelry amounting to P200,000.


Tabuk City Police Station, through their Facebook account, asked anyone who can tell any information about the suspect caught by CCTV to immediately contact their office.


Investigation into the case is in progress.
