Buy-bust Operation: 2 men arrested selling P.7M Marijuana, Shabu in Tabuk City

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Among the latest individuals to be brought to prison in Tabuk City are two identified drug personalities who were caught in a recent buy-bust operation.

According to the Kalinga Police Provincial Office, the anti-narcotics cops from different teams in the province launched a buy-bust against the suspects who were tagged as street-level drug personalities in Purok 7, Bulanao on Thursday, February 6, 2025.

The two who were not named by the police allegedly transacted with an undercover operative and sold the suspected contraband, leading to their arrest.

The said illegal drugs taken from the suspects include P740,400 worth of contraband – P720,000 worth of marijuana and P20,400 worth of shabu.  

The two accused, together with the confiscated evidence, were brought to the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit office for documentation. The contraband was turned over to the Kalinga Forensic Unit for laboratory examinations.

Six days ago, the PNP Tabuk arrested a 24-year-old man in Lacnog East after he was reported by his father to the authorities for allegedly using shabu. The man was mentioned to be a newly identified drug personality in the city.
