Cagaluan, Pasil THIRD Most Outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa 2022 in Region CAR

Pasil, Kalinga – Barangay Cagaluan in Pasil, Kalinga was awarded top three Most Outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa 2022 in region CAR after winning the local search under the 4th to 6th Class Municipality category.

Cagaluan recorded a total of 91.60 points, besting other barangays in different municipalities in the region.

Earlier, the Cagaluan lupon received recognition from the municipal government led by Mayor Alfredo “Chao-ig” Malannag Jr. for winning the local search for Lupong Tagapamaya incentive award.

Through the Municipal Ordinance No. 2021-07 authored by the former Chairman of Peace and Order Committee Ronnie Bawalan, the lupon was awarded P10,000 cash prize at the local level.

Cagaluan lupon gets more award

The exemplary performance of the Lupong Tagapamayapa of Cagaluan in settling disputes in their area was likewise recognized by DILG-Cordillera through its 2022 Regional Assessment of Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentive Award.

Proclaiming the lupon as 2nd Runner-Up, the regional department awarded a P20,000 development grant to lupon members of Cagaluan.

Mayor Malannag, through his social media post, congratulated the said group and challenged other lupons in the municipality to also do their best in performing their duty.

Meanwhile, DILG-Pasil commended Lupon Secretary Jemaimah Suma-il, Lupon Chairman John Ayangdo and all the Lupong Tagapamaya Members “for a job well done.”

“Let's aim for the National Level next year!” cheered the local department.
