Carwash boy in Cagayan carnaps SUV, arrested in Benguet

Tuba, Benguet –A carwash boy in Sanchez Mira, Cagayan was arrested in Tuba, Benguet on Monday, November 7, after running away with a Silver Ford Everest Titanium he was supposed to wash at his workplace.

The suspect was identified by the police as Hernand Zabaro, 24. Zabaro stole the vehicle 5 PM on November 4.

Police said the incident was immediately reported to Sanchez Mira station. The personnel there immediately submitted a flash alarm to all police stations.

Following the alarm sent, Zabaro was nabbed, along with the vehicle, at a checkpoint set up by authorities in Tuba, Benguet.

According to Tuba police, Zabaro was not able to present an ID to authorities when he was arrested.

It was later known that the suspect only resided in Sanchez Mira for two months and worked as a carwash boy in said car wash shop for two weeks.

The suspect, as relayed by the police, has had previous multiple cases related to illegal drugs, disobedience to authority, and carnapping.
