Tabuk City, Kalinga― Kalinga Lone District Representative Allen Jesse Mangaoang said that coordination, openness and provision of equal access to opportunities should be the key in ensuring the smooth execution of mandated programs and projects.

This, he underscored, is vital among partner agencies such as the Department of Education (DepEd) and Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) since they have to work closely to shape the future of the next generation.

Regie Wacas delivered said message during the DepEd and DPWH 2nd quarter coordination meeting on May 26.

The solon’s message also highlighted that there is a need to conduct regular coordination meeting between the agencies since it is critical in influencing the output especially ‘in fulfilling DepEd’s mandate in this very unusual times.’

“We are in your team and we wish to see you succeed in the education of our students and the realization of the vision to build empowered communities with a shared future for mankind,” Mangaoang remarked.

The Congressman then commits to reinforce their collaboration with both agencies as they are the main driving force for the administration to fulfill this commitment with a shared future.

“Interconnection and interdependence between you and our office will play a vital role in helping the government help its constituency. Because of this Coordination meeting, win-win outcomes and cooperation has gained stronger momentum,” the congressman expressed.

Furthermore, he informed that the bill on the conversion of the Dupag annex of Naneng National High School is now held in abeyance by the senate because of a letter of complaint contesting the school site lot.

It was only lately that the complaint surfaced, which caused delay on the final approval of the bill in the upper house.

Hence, Mangaoang then hopes that the City Schools Division in coordination with the Local Government Unit will sit together to hammer out a solution to address the complaint letter.

The Congressman ended his speech with an ancient belief that ‘one should be good at finding the laws of things and solving problems, which he is certain that this social construct process that they are working on will coincide into finding solutions to the problems they shall encounter.’
