Congressman Mangaoang of Kalinga officially starts campaign rally

Updated: Apr 4, 2022

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Aiming to continue the measures he started for the development of the Province of Kalinga, Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang officially begins his 2022 campaign rally this April 02, 2022, through a simple program held at Manuel S. Agyao Park, Mapaway, Ipil, Tabuk City.

In his message, Mangaoang, who is seeking the third term as the congressional district representative of Kalinga, said he wants to let the people know he is running for the position. The program, he said, is necessary since some noticed that they only see campaign materials of his opponent in public.

“Kick off rally tayo tatta nga aldaw ket kayat ko a iparikna kanyayu nga adda ak ladta met a nga agru-run para iti Congressman. Kunada gamin ti kakailyan nga taga-Kalinga, apay kanu nga awan ti makita da nga karatula tayo manipud idi December… ket han pay idi nga nagrugi ti election campaign period for local,” said the congressional district candidate.

Mangaoang highlighted that among the bills he filed, the renationalization and Level III upgrading of the Kalinga Provincial Hospital (KPH) is his top priority.

Earlier, the incumbent congressman underscored the approval of the bill will lift the burden of the Provincial Local Government Unit of Kalinga from having to allocate a significant amount of budget for the hospital’s operation.

Once approved, the national government will take the responsibility of providing a budget for the operationalization of KPH.

The budget to be saved by the PLGU will be channeled to the six district hospitals in the province namely the Pinukpuk District Hospital in Pinukpuk, Western Kalinga in Balbalan, Kalinga District Hospital in Lubuagan, Tanudan District Hospital, Juan M. Duyan in Rizal, and Meja Kim Medical Center in Agbannawag.

Mangaoang took the opportunity to extend his utmost gratitude to Governor Ferdinand Tubban and to all the local chief executives who showed their support for the measure by defending its importance during the Committee on Health Hearing held in 2021.

“Gapu iti presensiya ken suporta yu, napaspas ti panakapasa na idiay Lower House,” he added.

The re-electionist asked the community to give him a chance to pursue the pending bills he proposed for the people of Kalinga.
