Cordillera ranks Number 2 in ongoing PRISAA 2024

Baguio City, Philippines – If able to maintain their current standing until the last day of the ongoing Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) National Games in Legazpi City, the Cordillera Administrative Region could be this year’s second placers in the senior division.

 

The Cordillera team hauled 108 medals – 45 gold, 26, silver, and 37 bronze medals as of 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, and currently behind Central Visayas which is currently topping the games.

 

The PRISAA National Games is an annual event dedicated to students in private schools, colleges, and universities.

 

Organized by the Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA), the event enables them to compete in eight team sports, 14 individual and dual sports and five cultural and academic events.

 

This year’s edition was attended by more than 300 athletes and coaches from the Cordillera region.

 

The closing ceremony will be on July 29.

 

To recall, CAR was the third rank during the PRISAA 2023 senior division and fourth in the overall ranking, having bagged 47 gold, 29 silver, and 34 bronze medals.
