Cordillera’s “Fearless Highlanders” now in Cebu for Palarong Pambansa

Tabuk City, Kalinga – The Cordillera’s “Fearless Highlanders” are now all set to play and bring medals for the region in the 2024 Palarong Pambansa in Cebu City.

On Wednesday, July 3, the delegates from the 19 participating regional schools divisions started arriving in Cebu for the biggest sporting event in the country.

Among those who are already in the Queen City of the South is the Cordillera delegation. The team composed of 706 people already arrived and settled at Mabolo Elementary School where they will be staying during the duration of the games, according to the Department of Education Cordillera this July 4.

The games will run from July 9 until July 16 with over 12,000 participating athletes, coaches, and officiating officials.

The Cordillera’s Fearless Highlanders are aiming to surpass their top 9 rank in the Palarong Pambansa last year.
