Cordillera’s TOP 9 MOST WANTED PERSON caught in Tabuk City

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A 35-year-old man tagged as the Cordillera region’s top 9 most wanted individual for the third quarter of 2024 fell into the hands of the police on Sunday, August 11, in Bulanao.

 

Kalinga police reported that the operatives proceeded to Purok 5, Bulanao to serve the warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 25 on July 31, 2024, that allowed the capture of the suspect.

 

The 35-year-old who was not named by the police is accused of violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 with P240,000 recommended bail bond for his temporary freedom.

 

On the same day, a 54-year-old person facing charges for Statutory Rape was nabbed by the authorities in Amlao, Tabuk City, through an arrest warrant issued against him by the court on August 05. There was no recommended bail for his case.

 

Kalinga Police Provincial Director, PCol. Gilbert Fati-ig, conveyed that the arrest of these two wanted people is the result of the continuous intelligence-driven operations and efforts of the police in capturing individuals with law violations.
