Baguio City, Philippines – The 27-year-old fighter from Mountain Province and Ifugao dominated the former ONE bantamweight champion, Bibiano Fernandes, in ONE on Prime Video 4 held on Saturday, November 19, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

With his deadly ground-and-pound strikes, Stephen “The Sniper” Loman of Team Lakay was able to turn the tables on the Brazilian jiu-jitsu expert in the second round.

Loman took control of the situation on the third round, locking and bombarding his target with his hammer fists.

The Baguio-based fighter was unable to score a finish but succeeded in getting a statement win with a unanimous decision.

Loman now holds a record of 17-2 while the 42-year-old Fernandes dropped to 24-6.

He hopes that his win will give him a shot for ONE bantamweight world title.

Meanwhile, the Cordilleran fighter believes that success comes with consistency and it is his hard work, endless training, and determination that helped him achieve his latest victory.

“For the nth time, it is a great honor to represent my country, an experience that will always be fulfilling,” he expressed through his social media page.
