CSU among top performing schools in Social Workers board exam

Cagayan, Philippines – While it is a newly opened course in the university, Cagayan State University’s pioneering batch of Bachelor of Science in Social Work brought the school’s name on top in the recently concluded Social Workers Licensure Examination (SWLE).

Five days since the conduct of September 2023 SWLE in the country, the Professional Regulation Commission announced that 56.75% of the examinees passed the exam.

This is equivalent to 3,878 newly registered social workers.

The commission likewise released on Monday, Sept. 25 the list of universities with the highest passing rate.

The results named Cagayan State University as the top 10 performing schools after 51 out of 55 takers from the university passed the board exam. This earned CSU a 92.73% overall rating.

Cagayan State University – Carig Campus, through their Facebook page, commended its first batch of graduates for the achievement.

Top 1 performing universities, meantime, are Caraga State University – Butuan City, Leyte Normal University, University of the Philippines – Diliman, and Southern Christian College. These schools got a 100% passing rate.
