CVMC expands facilities with Communicable Disease Building

Cagayan, Philippines - Taking a significant stride towards elevating healthcare infrastructure, the Cagayan Valley Medical Center is gearing up to introduce its three-story Communicable Disease Building with 25-bed capacity.

This facility features separate delivery and labor rooms, an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a dialysis unit, two fully equipped operating rooms, and a pharmacy and laboratory.

The multifaceted amenities are designed to create a specialized environment for the diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients with communicable diseases.

The building addresses the dynamic healthcare landscape, particularly in managing communicable diseases that necessitate specialized facilities and isolation units.

During a recent inspection, Dr. Glenn Mathew Baggao, the Medical Center Chief, shared through PIA Region 2 that the facility's strategic design aligns seamlessly with the center's overarching vision of evolving into an apex hospital in Northern Luzon.

This latest addition not only amplifies the center's overall capacity but also solidifies its position as a pivotal hub for comprehensive medical services in Northern Luzon, reflecting a commitment to advancing healthcare accessibility and excellence.
