DAR-Apayao meets international standards, now ISO certified

Luna, Apayao - The Department of Agrarian Reform- Apayao is now ISO (International Organization for Standardization) certified as it meets international standards in its various areas of services.

The agency received an ISO certificate from the representatives of TUV NORD Philippines Incorporated during its First Semester Post-Assessment and Catch Up Planning program on Monday, Sept. 04, 2023, at the Star Jewel Lodge in Luna, Apayao.

TUV NORD Philippines is a member of an international organization named TÜV NORD Group, one of the world's largest inspection, certification, and testing center with over 14,000 employees across 70 countries. They offer a wide range of high-quality and competent services for ISO certification, engineering, calibration, and training.

Apart from recognizing the agency’s outstanding contributions to the province’s development and welfare, said award likewise acknowledged DAR’s exemplary performance in ensuring the rights and well-being of its beneficiaries through its various areas of operation.

These areas include public administration of land tenure services, legal services, adjudication board services, program beneficiaries services, and operations services.

Present during the awarding ceremony were outgoing Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II Artemio L. Dumaoang and the incoming Officer Penelope Beray De Ausen, among others.
