‘Diskwento Caravan’ opens in Santa Marcela; diverse goods available at low prices


Santa Marcela, Apayao – A four-day ‘Diskwento Caravan’ in Santa Marcela has been launched earlier today, Dec. 11 at the EKB gymnasium with Christmas Bazaar and Mini trade fair.


Throughout the Caravan which runs until Dec.14, consumers can buy several food items and products from exhibitors at affordable prices.


Mayor Evelyn B. Martinez, on her message, said it has been four (4) years that the municipality is conducting A Diskwento Caravan adding that it ahas become a big chance for residents to avail discounted fresh vegetables, rice, grocery items, home appliances, agricultural inputs and other local products in town.


Mayor Martinez also thanked DTI Provincial Office led by Provincial Director Engr. Wena Buston and lauded the exhibitors for their participation and partnership making said activity a memorable and exciting Christmas season experience to families and visitors.


For his part, Vice Mayor Rolly U. Guiang said the Caravan serves as avenue to encourage the business sectors to market their products. He also commended Mayor Martinez for supporting the different programs of government agencies.
