Tabuk City, Kalinga – Do you have the qualities or character needed to be the next Mr. Cordillera Autonomy Youth Ambassador? You might be the one the province is looking for!


The Kalinga provincial government through its Tourism Office announced Wednesday, June 07, that a screening will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday for the province’s male representative in the upcoming Mr. Cordillera Autonomy Youth Ambassador.


The event will be held on the third floor of Kalinga Capitol main building in Bulanao, Tabuk City.

To qualify, the applicant must be a male residing in the province. He must be 18 to 28 years old with good moral character and a pleasing personality and must be legally single.


Aspirants must bring with them a barangay certificate or certificate of residency, at least one government-issued ID, one close-up photo, and one full body shot.

The chosen candidate will represent the province, along with Miss Kalinga 2023 Angelina Lhodievin Dupaya, in the regional tilt in July 2023.


The pageant anchored on the theme, “Celebrating One Resilient, Diverse, and Inclusive (CORDI) Journey towards Autonomy,” is part of the month-long 36th Cordillera Month anniversary celebration that will be hosted by Apayao province.


Last year, Kalinga bet Shawn Michael Barila was crowned as Mr. Cordillera Autonomy Youth Ambassador 2022 and was named Best in Creative Cordillera Attire, Best in Autonomy Pitch, and Best in Talent, while Earene Joy Dawagan settled as second runner-up and won the Best in Autonomy Pitch Award.
