Driver from Rizal Kalinga arrested for attempted homicide and sexual abuse

Rizal, Kalinga – A driver from Rizal Kalinga who was accused of nearly killing his son-in-law and facing a charge for acts of lasciviousness was arrested in Benito Soliven, Isabela this September 1, 2021.


Based on the report of the Philippine National Police Rizal, suspect Ricardo Turaray, 54, resident of Santor, Rizal, is listed as Kalinga’s top 6 most wanted for the third quarter of 2021.


Turaray was charged with Attempted Homicide this July after he allegedly drew his firearm and pointed it towards his son-in-law. Fortunately, he misfired.

Another case was filed against him by a minor for Acts of Lasciviousness in relation to Republic Act 7610 or Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.


At around 12:20 PM this September 1, the police went to serve the two warrants of arrest against the suspect to the place he was hiding in Benito Soliven.


Turaray has a recommended bail of P36,000 for the attempted homicide case and P200,000 for the Acts of Lasciviousness.


After documentation at the police station, he was turned over to the courts that issued his warrants of arrest.
