DTI Kalinga launches “Balik Eskwela Diskwento” caravan

Tabuk City, Kalinga – After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the ‘Balik Eskwela Diskwento’ caravan of the Department of Trade and Industry - Kalinga is back.

In a press release, the provincial department underscored that the caravan intends to offer school supplies and other school essentials like uniforms, shoes, umbrellas, tumblers, lunch boxes, at discounted prices or other promotional forms like bundling, freebies, among others.

Said provision is to provide the students and parents, especially the low-income earners the opportunity to buy school necessities.

To offer discounted products, DTI-Kalinga tied up with local small and medium entrepreneurs or suppliers to promote and sell their products at lower prices than the regular cost in the market.

The generosity of the partner establishments were recognized during the ceremonial opening of the caravan held on August 12.

The caravan at the Dagupan Public Market ran until Sunday, August 14.
