DTI-Kalinga offers discounted ‘noche buena’ items, food products from Dec. 20-22

Tabuk City, Kalinga – This holiday season, the public is encouraged to take advantage of the Diskwento caravan for Noche Buena products at the Dagupan Public Market, Dagupan Centro, Tabuk City, Kalinga initiated by the Department of Trade and Industry.

Apart from Noche Buena products, gift items, frozen foods, bread, and other necessities and basic commodities sold at discounted prices are also currently displayed in said marketing event.

Maria Cecilia Baral of the DTI- Kalinga, in an interview, said the event will run until Friday, December 22, 2023.

Baral, however, added that the caravan could be extended until Christmas Eve, but the products available would depend on those participating stores willing to continue selling.

The Pamaskong Handog Diskwento Caravan this year has six participating stores on its first day, but another store supplying Nestle products in the province joined this Thursday.

“Nestle products will be sold at dealer prices. Dealers prices ket nu kas-ano iti panaglako da for the groceries ket isu ti ipresyo da for customers, so bale parang nawala yung isang chain,” Baral stated.

As for the other products available at present, these are discounted by around 2 to 30 percent.
