Dupligan, Tanudan begins construction of P5M Multipurpose Gymnasium

Tanudan, Kalinga – Darulog, Dupligan in Tanudan will soon be having their own multipurpose gymnasium as the project began construction the first week of July 2024.

One of the visions of the current administration under the leadership of Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag is the building of an open gymnasium in all barangays in Tanudan.

So far, the Municipal Local Government Unit has established and completed two open gymnasiums in Seet, Mabaca and Banagao, Poblacion. The same infrastructure was also erected in Gaang, Taloctoc, Anggacan in Mangali, and Lubo.

For this year, it is the turn of Dupligan to have their own open gymnasium constructed through the P5 million funding from the Municipal LGU loan. 

Just like in the other places, the project will serve multiple functions like a conducive venue for the community’s programs, meetings, or gatherings which will allow them to conduct their activities without worrying about the weather.

Mayor Dagadag tells other communities in the municipality that their own gymnasium will be constructed sooner, adding that the one in Dacalan was already funded.
