Entrepreneur in Santa Marcela, Apayao receives aid from OVP Duterte

Santa Marcela, Apayao – An entrepreneur in Santa Marcela town received financial assistance from the Office of the Vice President (OVP) Cagayan Valley Satellite Office, through Assistant Lead, Ms. Wilhelmina Cureg-Quilang on March 5.

The beneficiary, Christian Paul Rumpon from Barangay Emiliana, obtained a cheque amounting to P15,000 under the Magnegosyo Ta Day program, as part of the third batch of recipients.

Supervising Administrative Officer Oscar Ramos Jr. informed the initiative aims to provide financial support to aspiring entrepreneurs to help them start or expand their small businesses, promoting livelihood opportunities.  LEDIPO Designate Ms. Elizabeth F. Palacay, moreover, underscored the local government’s support for programs geared toward addressing the lack of income-generating endeavors.

Through said monetary assistance, the OVP Duterte reaffirms its commitment to uplifting local communities by providing aid that helps individuals achieve economic independence and improve their quality of life.
