Ex-soldier facing murder charges nabbed in Tabuk City

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A 31-year-old man tagged as the top three most wanted person in Tabuk City for the third quarter of 2024 was captured by the police in Barangay San Juan on Tuesday morning, July 23.

 

The suspect whose identity was held by the police was a ‘discharged’ member of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

 

He has a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 25 on April 19, 2024, for a murder case with no recommended bail.

 

Through the said document, operatives were able to apprehend the suspect and bring him to police custody to answer the charges filed against him.

 

Last week, the Tabuk City police also arrested the number one top most wanted person in the city for the third quarter of the year. The 41-year-old suspect was charged with Qualified Rape of a Minor Through Sexual Assault.

 

The 41-year-old was nabbed by the police in Bulanao on July 17 through an arrest warrant issued by the court on the same day.
