Family of fatal hit-and-run victim in Abra seeks justice


Abra, Philippines – The heartbroken family of a rolling cart vendor killed in a fatal hit-and-run in Abra pleads for the driver to surrender.


On Sunday, March 26, Ramil Della Balolong of Tayum, Abra was suddenly hit by a still unidentified motorcyclist along Barikir subvillage at Zone 5, Bangued.

He is survived by his children aged 8 and 9 who used to depend on him.


The victim’s sister, Marieta Della Baloloy cried for justice.


“Sapay kuma ta makonsensya ka ti inaramid mo ta apay nga tinarayam ni manong mi,” Marieta called the perpetrator in her message sent to local media.


The incident was caught on a CCTV camera but those taken were blurry.


Baloloy family is soliciting the help of people who happened to witness the hit-and-run to provide any information to the police.
