Female corpse found in Benguet could have been killed elsewhere

Tuba, Benguet – A decomposing cadaver of a woman was found by residents at Sitio Tokang, Barangay Camp 3, Tuba, Benguet at 10:45 AM of June 8, 2021.

The female corpse is wearing a leather jacket, white shirt and jogging pants when it was discovered on the road.

According to police report as published by Bombo Radyo Baguio, some residents, while gathering wood near the area found the cadaver lying on said place with its rotting smell.

Further, it is believed that the corpse was killed in another place but was only thrown in the area.

Authorities are still conducting further probe to unravel the identity of the victim, and the reason of death.

Meantime, the public particularly those with missing family members are being urged to coordinate with the police to hasten the process of identifying the dead body.

As recalled, this is not the first time that Tuba becomes a dumping place of dead bodies as numerous reports in the past years told about residents finding corpse in the area.
