Female drug personality nabbed

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A woman was arrested through a search warrant, Friday evening, after operatives recovered suspected shabu at her house in Purok 1, Bulanao, Centro.

The Tabuk City Police reported that at around 8:30 PM, authorities searched the house of suspect Marissa/Mariane Daligdig Basacoy, an identified high value individual drug personality.

She was arrested after the search yielded seven pieces of small heat sealed sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu. The substance is about 1 gram with estimated value of P6,800.

Other items confiscated during the operation include a small improvised tooter and a cellular phone which she allegedly used in her illegal transactions.

The suspect will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive dangerous drugs act of 2002.

Meantime, on March 10, around P27,200 worth of alleged shabu was also seized in two separate search in Pinukpuk.
