First ever Mr. and Ms. CSC Sports Ambassadors 2024 in Apayao crowned

Luna, Apayao- The first ever Mr. and Ms. CSC Sports Ambassadors in Apayao this year have been crowned during the commencement of the monthlong celebration of the Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA), this September. 


The enchanting search was joined by 11 candidates who represented their clusters, 6 female candidates and 5 males. It was one of the highlight activities in the province’s celebration which was held on September 1, featuring a long-decade theme, Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant-Heroes.”


During the coronation of winners, female candidate number 1 from cluster 5 (green team) Lovy T. Trinidad from the Department of Education (DepEd) won as the Ms. CSC sports Ambassadress after she was adjudged for her amusing and spectacular performances on the stage, as evidenced by her accolades. She also garnered awards including Darling of the Crowd and the Queen of the Ramp. She represented offices of DepEd, Comelec, COA, DOLE, DTI, LBP, OWWA, Crime Lab, and IAS.


Meantime, Male candidate number 3 from cluster 1 (pink team), Charles Kyle T. Cerezo from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) was hailed as the Mr. CSC sports Ambassador and was adorned with distinct awards such as Mr. Articulate, Best in Sportswear, and King of the Ramp. He attributed his triumph to the support of his teammates comprised of DPWH, RTC, PAO, MCTC, Parole and Probation, LRA, and CSC.


As for the runners-up, female candidate number 4 from cluster 2 (red team) Jaybee Reyes of Far North Luzon General Hospital and Training Center (FNLGHTC) secured the first runner-up and got the award Ms. Articulate. Muse candidate Ms. Joyce Batugal of Apayao State College (ASC) from cluster 4 (white team) clinched the 2nd runner-up and was awarded the best in production and best in sportswear.


For the male category, male candidate number 4 James Sabado from cluster 2 (red team) won the first runner-up. Male candidate number 6 Clyde Albano of Provincial Tourism Services Office (PTSO) from cluster 6 settled for 2nd runner-up and was conferred the Darling of the crowd and best in production number.


The event wasn’t only designed as a mere part of the celebration to provide entertainment, but it was a showcase of the genuine talent and wit of the civil servants, prepared to serve with honor, dynamism, and excellence.
