Are you an ecotourism lover looking for a new thrilling tourist site?

Mt. Camisong Forest Park in Benguet is perfect for you, not just for its captivating views but also for its affordable entrance fee.

Mt. Camisong Forest Park is the newly inaugurated tourist site in Itogon, Benguet. The park was officially opened to visitors on February 1, 2025.

Situated in Barangay Loacan in Itogon, Mt. Camisong Forest Park offers a distinctive experience for everyone as the place is situated in an area overlooking the stunning landscapes of Benguet’s mountains.

One of the reasons why one should visit the park is the first glass walkway in Cordillera and the second in the Philippines. The other glass walkway in the country is located in Monte Maria Shrine in Batangas City.

The Camisong Forest Park’s walkway is part of its “Alapaap” View Deck, where you can view the stunning lush mountains and vast pine forests of Benguet and capture perfect photographs.

The park is not only a place for thrills, it is also a venue for individuals interested in cultural and artistic performances, with its Dagitab Amphitheater. The Amphitheater is an open-air venue that features cultural music, dance, and theater of Cordilleran people.

All these thrills and performances will be experienced for just a P500 entrance fee for adults, P400 for students and local residents, and P350 for seniors/PWDs, while children under 7 years old are free of charge, as shared by the park’s management on its Facebook page.

Additional features within the park are being developed, including the “Garden Park,” a peaceful spot for unwinding, and the “Children’s Park,” an enjoyable area for families with little ones.

Explorers can also anticipate the “Alpas Mountain Bike Trail,” an exciting journey that will guide them through the park’s rough landscape once completed.

With upcoming developments, such as the finishing of the Garden Park, Children’s Park, and new forest trails, the park is on track to become an essential ecotourism spot in Cordillera.
