First Regional Warehouse and Logistics Hub in Kalinga nears completion

Tabuk City, Kalinga – The P25 million worth first Cordillera Regional Disaster Risk Resilience Management Council (RDRRMC) Warehouse and Logistics Hub nears completion, reports Civil Defense Cordillera on Tuesday, July 05, 2022.


The construction of the edifice commenced after its groundbreaking on August 27, 2021 at the Capitol Compound.

The lot where the regional warehouse and logistics hub was erected was donated by the provincial government under former Governor Ferdinand Tubban through a resolution, duly authorized by the provincial council.


Tubban earlier underscored that more lives can be saved during calamities and disasters with the warehouse.


The warehouse, he said, would likewise help reduce prolonged suffering of victims and affected families, “as the strategic location of Kalinga as another DRRMC hub supplies in the region being sandwiched among other provinces shall facilitate faster delivery of needed services and help.”


Upon completion of the warehouse and logistics hub, emergency supplies can now be transported faster in Kalinga, Apayao, parts of Ifugao, and Mt. Province.
