‘Funding of road projects in Pasil, Kalinga assured’ - Pasil Municipal Council

Pasil, Kalinga – Residents of Pasil will soon experience better road access after the proposal of the municipal council for road construction and improvement have been granted by Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang.

On Saturday, September 05, Councilors Nick Bommogas, Jhomel Gayagay, Ronaldo Gumabay, Peter Andomang, Billy Linggayo Jr., Guillermo Tao-il, Eugene Batalao Sr., Christopher Canao, and Sangguniang Kabataan Federation Beejay Bongabong had a dinner meeting with Mangaoang and family.

The august body of Pasil took the opportunity to lobby funds for various road projects in their locality.

In an interview, Batalao said among the projects they proposed for funding include the 2nd Phase of Ableg-Molayong-Amdalao Road which require road opening and concreting of the remaining section up to the proposed bridge.

“If this will be completed, travel time from Ableg Bridge to Amdalao will be shortened by 20 minutes,” he stated.

In addition, the council likewise sought funding for the construction and improvement of Ableg-Dalupa Road, Limo-od-Magsilay-Amdalao Road, and Puapo-Dangtalan Road; and improvement of Amdalao-Guina-ang Road, among others.

According to Batalao, Congressman Mangaoang responded positively and most of the projects proposed expect implementation by year 2023.
