GMA Foundation donates rapid test kits, vitamins to Kalinga


Tabuk City, Kalinga – As part of their support to local government units’ efforts in controlling the spread of Covid-19, the GMA Foundation donated rapid test kits, vitamins, and other supplements to the Kalinga local government unit.


In a report from the Provincial Information Office, the Kalinga PLGU received this Tuesday, March 23, 2021, 15 boxes of rapid test kits, 48 boxes of Calcium Carbonate, 1000 bottles of Domperidone Syrup, 1000 ampules Hyoscine Ampules, 37 bottles Rhea Ascorbic Acid, 660 tabs Salbutamol Sulfate 4mg, and 80 bottles H-One Cetirizine Hydrochloride 10ml.

Governor Ferdinand Tubban, thanked the foundation for their generosity, saying that the donated items will contribute in the province’ effort to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the locality.


"This is a very generous gesture and it's so heart-warming that despite the increasing number of cases in other provinces, the GMA Foundation chose our province. These Test Kits, vitamins and supplements will make a big impact in controlling the number of cases in Kalinga. Our Province is so grateful towards this unmeasurable generosity of GMA Foundation," he said.

Additionally, the foundation also donated at total of 2,914 food and hygienic packs to seven schools in Kalinga and these include Agbannawag Elementary School, San Pablo Elementary School, Southern Elementary school, San Juan Elementary School, Basao Elementary School, Mallango Elementary School, and Banggad Elementary School.
