Gov. Edduba acknowledges Sen. Bong Go's aid and funding

Rizal, Kalinga – For the past years, Kalinga has been among the recipients of programs and assistance from the Office of Senator Christopher Lawrence ‘Bong’ Go.

Among these aids include the P5.5 million medical assistance for indigent patients, P3 million Sustainable Livelihood Program benefiting 6 associations in Kalinga, P10 million for potable water in Lubuagan, and P18 million funding given to the Tinglayan Local Government Unit.

Likewise, the staff of the senator's office personally came to give relief assistance to residents of Isla Basao in Tabuk City after they were affected by a typhoon.

For these initiatives, Governor James Edduba took the chance to convey his gratitude to Go, who graced the opening program of the 2024 Kalinga Provincial Athletic Meet on January 25 in Rizal.

The governor further expressed his appreciation for the guest speaker who flew to the province to personally attend the event despite his busy schedule, even though the invitation was sent to him on short notice.

“…granting our request even on short notice, he was able to come here, thank you, thank you very much, senator,” Edduba said.

Meanwhile, after addressing the young athletes and attendees of the event, Go, who is the Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Sports, provided sports equipment to the players.
