Gov. Edduba honored for his support to national peace initiatives

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Governor James Edduba recently joined a list of stakeholders who were honored by the 5th Infantry Division in Isabela for their support and commitment to ending armed conflict in the country.

A citation was presented to the governor during the 43rd Founding Anniversary of 5ID for his ‘unending support and enduring commitment’ for the implementation of the Executive Order 70 or the Whole-of-Nation Approach in attaining inclusive and sustainable peace.

The 5th ID highlighted that Edduba’s initiatives and efforts in implementing the said government program play a huge contribution in their mission and accomplishments.

On behalf of the governor, Provincial Administrator Teddy Gullay received the plaque of recognition last May 20 at Camp Melchor F. Dela Cruz in Gamu.

In a statement relayed by Provincial Information Officer, Dionica Alyssa Legasi, Edduba conveyed that the recognition is a manifestation that the provincial government along with stakeholders and national line agencies is working hand in hand to sustain peace in the province.

“Saan tayo ma-recognize nu awan ti suporta ti nadumaduma nga agencies. This is a symbol that we are working together towards our one vision, one dream, and that is to have a progressive Kalinga through attaining peace,” he said.
