Gov. Tubban asks public to support new administration

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Governor Ferdinand Tubban called for the public to support the new administration as he conceded defeat to Governor-elect James Edduba in the gubernatorial race.


In his statement published by the Provincial Governor’s Office – Information Services, Tubban expressed his acceptance to the result of the May 09, 2022 polls.


“Iti spiritu ti panagtutunos ti respeto ti tunggal maysa, adtuyak a sipapakumbaba a mang-awat ti nagbalin a resulta iti naangay a panagpipili. Nu man pay haan a siak ti napagasatan a nangabak, awatek a sipupuso ti resulta kas timek ken pagayatan iti kaadwan,” said the outgoing governor.

Tubban congratulated governor-elect James Edduba and wished that the Almighty give him strength to carry on his responsibilities.


He further assured his willingness to cooperate in the transfer of functions for the peace and harmony in the province.


The governor thanked his supporters for their time and sacrifices and all the personnel especially the police force and Board of Election Inspectors for their contribution in ensuring peaceful elections in the locality.

“Awisek ti tunggal maysa nga agtitinulong ken agmaymaysa tayo, kadwa tayo dagiti barbaro a naipasdek nga opisyales ti ili tayo tapnu magun-udan tayo dagiti kayat tayo para iti agtultuloy a panagdur-as ti probinsiya tayo. Ni Apo Diyos ti mangbendisyon ti tunggal maysa,” Tubban concluded.
