Gov. Tubban delighted with the P77.2M KPH OR-DR Complex, "it will expand services saving more lives"

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Provincial Governor Engr. Ferdinand B. Tubban, during the turn-over of the P77.2 million worth Kalinga Provincial Hospital (KPH) Operating and Delivery Room Complex, underscored the importance of said facility in providing more and better services to the 200 thousand population of Kalinga.

The governor said that the installation of the new OR-DR would significantly cut down expenses while removing the burden of travel for many patients who needed surgical operations, which KPH could not provide. With its proximity, this, he said, would help save more lives in cases of emergency, considering the province’s terrains and challenging roads.

The new facility, he said, is made more relevant, especially at this time of the pandemic, where movements and even medical travels are affected by protocols and restrictions.

The three-story building with 44 beds at KPH Compound today was inaugurated and turned-over on November 16, 2021.

“Many have dreamed of this and now it is here,” Tubban said.

Tubban likewise expressed his gratitude to all those who have done their part and worked hard together in the realization of the said project.

Further, the governor expressed hope that the workers and managers would remain dedicated and committed to providing the best quality services to the Kalinga people.

“May we continue to work together in the spirit of harmony and cooperation as well as in the primacy of public service for a better today and a brighter tomorrow of our children and children’s children. It is only through working together that we can do greater things, ensuring sustainability and continuity from generation to generation,” he concluded.
