High value drug personality arrested on Easter Sunday

Tabuk City, Kalinga ̶ A high value drug personality was arrested through a search warrant in Barangay Malin-awa on Sunday, April 4.

Police discovered alleged illegal substance, believed to be shabu in the suspects house during the search.

Initially found was a piece of medium heat sealed plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance and 13 pieces of small sachet with the same substance placed inside a purse.

As the search progressess, another 12 pieces of small sachets with suspected shabu were found along with paraphernalia. Lastly, a small sachet with the same substance was found from his phone.

The confiscated drug items were estimated to be at least five grams worth P34,000. After the inventory, the suspect was brought to the Kalinga Police Provincial Office along with the evidence for documentation.

The suspect is now facing charges on violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
